The NFL’s second day back brought a flurry of moves, and a couple of trades too. Here’s what happened:
Major Cuts (in principle):
QB Jake Delhomme was informed he will be cut from the Browns
Major Signings (in principle):
QB Matt Hasselbeck agreed to terms with the Titans
QB Bruce Gradkowski agreed to terms with the Bengals
QB Kellen Clemens agreed to terms with the Redskins
WR Sidney Rice agreed to terms with the Seahawks
WR Donte Stallworth agreed to terms with the Redskins
WR Santonio Holmes agreed to terms to re-sign with the Jets
WR Steave Breaston agreed to terms with the Chiefs
RB De’Angelo Williams agreed to terms to re-sign with the Panthers
C David Baas agreed to terms with the Giants (presumably to replace Shaun O’Hara)
Trades
The Redskins acquired WR Jabar Gaffney from the Broncos and gave up DE Jeremy Jarmon
The Vikings acquired QB Donovan McNabb from the Redskins for a 6th round pick in 2012 and a conditional 6th in 2013.

A Kyle Orton trade to the Dolphins is expected as soon as tonight. Kevin Kolb is expected to be dealt to the Cardinals by the end of the week.
